Emi's incisor teeth are still working their way out. Our sweetie pie has had a rough week.

Busy week!

Sara traveled a lot this week and while she was gone Emily and I put in a backsplash in the kitchen. Emily picked out the tumbled slate 4" x 4" tiles with 1" x 1" border. We still have to install the trim around the edges, but it's pretty much done. Thanks, HBO, for the Home Depot gift cards that paid for the whole project! Next project- paint those cabinets and put in new switch plates.

 The natural imperfections and rough edges of the slate hide most of my mistakes pretty well.

Both Grandmas/Grandpas Today!

Heading to Grandma Berta's today to spend the afternoon and then Grandma Linda's this evening while Mom and Dad have some grown-up time! A double-dose of Grandma Time for Emily, yeah! See you later!

Two new teeth coming in!

Emily's incisor teeth are starting to peek through. Once those teeth make their way, she'll have six baby teeth: her two bottom teeth, two front teeth and her two new incisors. She'll be eating corn on the cob in no time! Until then, she'll keep practicing on apples....
